HOW TO ORDER We’ve tried to make this as simple and uncomplicated as possible! Step 1: Start by creating an account on our website – this is information that we require to deliver your order, including your name, billing address, delivery address and contact telephone number. Step 2: Browse our site and add the item(s) that you wish to purchase to your shopping cart. Step 3: Go to check-out. During this process you will have the chance to edit your shopping cart and change the delivery address (you may wish to send items to different addresses within South Africa). You will also have the opportunity during check-out to request your item(s) to be gift-wrapped and a personalised message added to your gifts. Step 4: Payment can be made by credit card or bank transfer (EFT). Please note if choosing EFT as a payment option we require proof of payment before the goods can be dispatched. You will find our banking details on your order confirmation. When paying by credit card you are directed to Paygate South Africa (www.paygate.co.za) where your information is stored on their database – we do not keep credit card details on our website. When the check-out process is successfully completed you will receive an email confirming your order. SENDING GIFTS Simply login using your email and password that you have used to create your account. Choose the item(s) and go to check-out. At this point you can edit the recipient name and delivery address. You can request the item(s) to be gift-wrapped and leave a message for the recipient that we will hand-write on a card. There is no additional charge for this service. For postal orders we will email a tracking number which you can pass on to the recipient to enable them to collect the order from their local post office. For courier orders we would appreciate a contact telephone number for the recipient, in the event that no-one is at the delivery address during the day to sign for the order. You can rest assured that when you send a gift to a friend or relative in South Africa that your order will arrive looking attractively presented and free of any pricing information. A delivery note will be included to state the number of items to be expected in the parcel. DELIVERY We understand that when you buy items on the internet you want to receive them as soon as possible! Because we keep stock on hand, we try and dispatch orders on the same day provided the order and payment is received by midday Monday to Friday.
Please note for security reasons we do not allow collection of orders from our premises. We have capped freight rates (per order not per item) of R38.00 postage anywhere in South Africa, or R65.00 courier fee to major city centres outside of Gauteng and R45.00 courier fee within Gauteng for areas not listed below. We offer FREE DELIVERY to the following Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg: Atholl, Bryanston, Craighall, Douglasdale, Fourways, Hyde Park, Lonehill, Parkmore, Paulshof, Morningside, Randburg, Riverclub, Rivonia, Sandton and Sunninghill. If your address or the address of the recipient falls under any of these areas, please tick the “Free Delivery” box on the check-out process. Delivery time by the South African Post Office is generally between 2 – 5 working days depending on the area that the parcel is sent to. Items are sent via the Post Office economy postal service and orders will need to be collected from your local Post Office. A tracking number is emailed to you once the parcel has been posted making it easy to trace your order. In the many years we have been trading we have never had a parcel go missing! Delivery by courier to major city centres outside of Gauteng generally takes 2-3 working days from dispatch. Courier orders to Gauteng are normally delivered the following working day if the order is placed and paid for before 12h00 noon. An original tax invoice will be included with all orders where the billing address and the delivery address are the same. We do not send invoices when sending orders to other delivery addresses, therefore please request that we email you a separate invoice should you require it. PACKAGING In order to prevent excess waste and to help preserve the environment, we send our toys out in sturdy boxes and cartons that we have already received from our suppliers. We believe it’s what’s inside the box that counts! TOY SAFETY Safety, quality and durability are important factors of what we look for when sourcing our toys. You can rest assured that all products listed on this website comply with international safety standards. Safety test result certificates can be provided from all our manufacturers on request.
